Tarkett sales down by over five per cent

The flooring specialist Tarkett registered net sales amounting to € 1.108 bn in the first half of 2014, equivalent to a decline of 5.4 per cent compared with the same period in the previous year. All segments and regions experienced organic growth, according to the company, with the exception of the CIS and neighbouring states, which suffered the effects of the Ukrainian crisis and the weakening of the Russian economy. Tarkett employs around 11 000 people at 32 production plants.
