New Europe statistics published

Dähne Verlag has considerably expanded its statistics on the European DIY market, which are updated annually. The new edition of Dähne Statistics DIY Europe has now been published and comprises 68 pages outlining the development of the market in 28 European countries. It lists the respective DIY store operators with the number of stores operated and retail areas, while detailed articles explain the development in larger individual markets. Sales rankings of the top 10 in Europe and worldwide are also featured, plus a detailed list of the foreign operations of European DIY store chains. Not only are the statistics for the current year given (data as at 31.12.2013); other new features include a comparison with the previous year complete with growth rates and a ten-year retrospective covering the development of stores and retail areas in each country.
