French Association has new chairman

Jean-Éric Riche (59) is the new chairman at the French Manufacturers’Association Unibal. He replaces Gilles Caille who was in the chair for 22 years. Caille was honoured with the Lifetime Award for his commitment to the industry at the European Home Improvement Forum two years ago in Paris.
Jean-Éric Riche has been the CEO of the French family-run business Debflex, a plastics specialist and provider of electrical installations, since 1999. With this appointment the new leadership of the association is now complete because there has also been a change in the management: The longstanding managing director Bernhard Boursier left the association at the end of 2013. Valérie Dequen is the new managing director.
