Horticultural fair in China

This year’s Hortiflorexpo IPM Beijing has attracted 18 567 visitors from 49 countries. That is twelve per cent more than two years ago in Peking and 1.7 per cent less than one year ago in Shanghai. The German Trade Fair Organisation, Messe Essen and the China Flower Association have jointly organised the trade fair since 2012, alternating between Shanghai and Peking. This year’s fair in Peking attracted 427 exhibitors from 26 countries. There were national pavilions for companies from France, the Netherlands, Taiwan and Germany.
There was also lot of enthusiasm for the supporting programme. On the day before the fair, a total of 30 exhibitors already took part in a visit to various horticultural businesses. Seminars on topics such as greenhouse innovation and ecology were offered during the fair.
