One-quarter of home owners in Europe are considering whether to purchase insulating material on the internet. However, half of them (52 per cent) definitely reject the idea. USP, the market research company which compiled the figures within the scope of its European Home Improvement Monitor, emphasises that there are certainly considerable differences between the countries. The greatest number of potential online buyers is to be found in the United Kingdom, where they account for a share of 40 per cent. The willingness to purchase online is at its lowest in Austria and Switzerland (seven per cent) and France as well (eight per cent).
