E-commerce also in the home market

Bauhaus, a German DIY company, now also has an online shop in the German home market. To start with there will be an offer of some 7 500 products available there; this is expected to increase to around 15 000 in the development phase. The company, which has been working on an online store project under the leadership of Bernd Baus, son of the founder, for a good two years now, has invested a sum of several million euros. Since 2011 Bauhaus has had an online shop in operation in Sweden.
