More international Christmasworld

The multi-trade show consisting of Christmasworld, Paperworld and Creativeworld saw a slight rise (0.1 per cent) in attendance figures to a total of 83 300. Visitors came to Frankfurt for the five-day event from 154 countries altogether. The number of international buyers above all saw an increase right across all three fairs. “The high level of recognition and very good ordering activity from abroad are confirmation of our belief that Christmasworld, Paperworld and Creativeworld are the leading international fairs in their sector,” said Detlef Braun, managing director of Messe Frankfurt. Altogether 60 per cent of visitors were from abroad. Christmasworld registered 32 864 visitors from 112 countries. This reveals an increase in the degree of internationality from 55 per cent to 58 per cent. Here a total of 918 exhibitors (2013: 943 exhibitors) showed their range of decorative products and concepts for every conceivable celebration held during the year. The next Christmasworld will be held from 30 January to 3 February 2015; it will overlap by one day with the IPM, which comes to an end on 30 January.
