Sales growth for Homebase

Homebase, a British DIY chain, reports sales of some ₤ 464 mio for the four months from 1 September 2013 to 4 January 2014. That is 2.3 per cent more altogether than the figure for the corresponding period one year previously. In The increase in like-for-like terms was 4.7 per cent, though the company did in fact close down ten stores. It had 323 stores in operation on the last day of the period under consideration.
