Screwfix managers in Germany

The entry of Screwfix onto the German market is taking definite shape. Mid-January saw the founding of Screwfix Direct Ltd as the company’s German branch. The first personnel decisions have already been made. The position of central buyer has gone to Dragan Subaric, who has moved from Neckermann, a catalogue retailer. Jens Hildebrandt has been appointed human resources manager. One of his previous jobs was with the Praktiker chain, which was declared bankrupt in 2013. The position of supply chain manager has gone to Christian Böhm, whose previous experience includes working for the German market leader Obi. Screwfix, which is part of Kingfisher, the British DIY group, is a sales format that focuses on trade business.
