Closures in the Balkans

Obi now has no more than one outlet in Bosnia-Herzegovina. At the end of 2013 the company closed down its two stores in Mostar and Banja Luka, which leaves just one outlet in Sarajevo. In neighbouring Croatia, too, the biggest German DIY retailer has parted with one outlet, the store in Varazdin. However, it still has two stores left in Sisak and Slavonski Brod. What is more, December saw the closure of another Obi store in Turin.
