20th Castorama store in Russia

Castorama Russia (Kingfisher Group) opened yet another store in the Russian Federation before the end of last year. The new location is in Orenburg, a city of half a million in the southwest of the Ural Mountains. Until then, Home Center had been the only international DIY retail group represented there. The store features a retail space of 9 700 m² (total area: 12 700 m²) carrying a range of 25 000 products in the “Armada Louvre”, a popular shopping centre. There are 500 parking slots available to customers seven days a week, as well as 18 checkouts and a staff of 140. Castorama numbers among the top three in the Russian home improvement sector. The company employs a workforce of more than 3 000 in Russia and welcomes over three million customers to its stores every month.
