Optimistic market leader

Home Depot CEO Frank Blake expects the market to continue growing because the property market is rallying once again. Behind this assumption is the development of a trend in the regions that were hardest hit by the crisis, such as Florida, California and Arizona. As he said at an event in Cumberland, people were willing to invest in their homes again. In the second quarter of the current fiscal year Home Depot recorded the strongest like-for-like sales growth of the past 20 years. This growth is now also coming from e-commerce. Online sales rose by 50 per cent in the third quarter.
