Irish chain sees increase of 4.1 per cent between July and October

In the four months from July to October the Irish Grafton Group’s retail business in Ireland, which goes under the name of Woodie’s, recorded 4.1 per cent more sales than in the same period last year. The cumulative sales growth in the first ten months of the year remains in deficit as the result of a double-digit shortfall in the first quarter. The company puts the reduction down to the closure of two stores last year.
