Hagebaumarkt stores in Austria

The 44 Hagebaumarkt stores in Austria, to which must be added four other serviced stores, had a total retail area of around 163 000 m² at the end of 2012. This was unfortunately misstated in “DIY International Statistics – a review of Europe’s DIY markets”, a supplement to our specialist magazine DIY International. Unfortunately one zero was left out here, which made the total area ten times smaller than it actually is. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this mistake.
