Strong growth for Egger

Consolidated sales of the Egger Group amounted to € 2.181 bn in the 2012/2013 financial year. The producer of derived timber products announced these results yesterday at the parent plant in St. Johann in Tyrol (Austria, see photo). It appears that the sales increase of some eleven per cent on the previous year was mainly due to the recently acquired Russian chipboard factory in Gagarin, while the increases in the volume of OSB products was down to the commissioning of the new works in Radauti (Romania), as well as additional capacity in the area of coatings and laminating.
