Pets at the garden fair

For the first time the Japanese trade fair Gardex/Extepo (International Garden Expo Tokyo/International Outdoor Living & Building Products Expo) is reserving a special zone at the exhibition for exhibitors from the pet industry. This new section is being set up with the support of the Japan Pet Products Manufacturers Association. Some 30 000 visitors are expected tol attend the fair between 9 and 11 October on the Makuhari exhibition site. What is more, organisers Reed Exhibitions are reckoning on a record number of more than 310 exhibiting companies. Official information suggests that a great number of exhibitors from overseas are organising country pavilions at the event. For example, companies from Sri Lanka intend to participate in a jointly organised stand.
