In the American DIY retail sector June, with a same-store sales increase of ten per cent, was the strongest month since the start of the post-crisis upswing. Market leaders Home Depot and Lowe’s are responsible for this growth, together with the regional chains and independent dealers. This emerges from a report by market researchers Cleveland Research. In the case of seasonal ranges (indoor and outdoor), a rise of as much as 15 per cent on the same month last year was established.
