Start now in Moscow

Start, the DIY retail group based in St Petersburg, has opened its first store in the Moscow region. This is an outlet under the Domowoi banner, which Start acquired from Adamant in 2011. It is located in Mytischtschi and features a sales area of 8 200 m², as the company reports in the newsletter of EDRA, the European DIY Retail Association. According to this information, Start grew its sales by 46.6 per cent to US $ 170 mio in 2012, thereby achieving a like-for-like increase of 25.9 percent.
