Sandmann says goodbye ...

Andreas Sandmann (picture), who was appointed managing director of Operational Business International at the DIY chain Praktiker International GmbH, Hamburg, on 2 January 2013, is leaving again on 31 May 2013 after just five months. The former boss of Obi in Germany was originally the desired candidate of majority Praktiker shareholder Isabella de Krassny for the post of board chairman of Praktiker AG. Differences with Armin Burger, chairman of the company’s board, relating to workplace atmosphere and career are believed to be the reason for the separation.
