Six Red Dots Design Awards

The Husqvarna Group has received six of the prestigious Red Dot Design Awards for products under its Husqvarna and Gardena brands. Three of the awards are in the top “best of the best” category. The Red Dot Design Award is one of the most prestigious international design awards. It was established by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein-Westfalen in 1955. This year the jury judged 4 662 products in 19 different categories. In the “best of the best 2013” category, the Husqvarna power saw 550 XP received an award, along with Gardena’s rectangular sprinkler and wall-mounted hose box. The 36V cordless hedge trimmer 136Li HD50, the 36V cordless strimmer 536LiR and the 36V cordless tophandle saw T536Li XP, all from Husqvarna, received an award for “product design 2013”.
