Drop in sales at Lowe’s

Lowe’s, the second-biggest home improvement store operator in the world, has reported a drop in sales compared with the same period last year of 0.5 per cent (= US $ 100 mio) to US $ 13.1 bn. For the most part the company blames the poor weather for the negative seasonal trend. Lowe’s currently operates 1 755 home improvement stores in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
