Green Depot, an American chain specialising in eco-friendly building materials, intends to achieve growth of nearly 25 per cent this year. Last year’s sales came to US $ 9.75 mio according to the Bloomberg Business Week. The company, which was founded by Sarah Beatty in 2005, currently numbers 13 relatively small outlets that are mainly located in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland and Chicago. In addition to being a certified woman-owned business, the company has 20 storage facilities and also sells through its website. It has a strategic partnership with Marjam Supply, a building materials chain that was set up by Beatty’s husband Mark Buller and his brother.
