Miedaner moves to Weber-Stephen

Frank Miedaner, 47, will in future be managing the Germany business of Weber-Stephen, a manufacturer of grills. He is also now Vice President Central Europe. He took up his new job on 16 March 2013. Miedaner succeeds Hans-Jürgen Herr, who was recently appointed President Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) by Weber-Stephen. Miedaner is moving to Weber-Stephen from Compo, a manufacturer of potting composts and fertilizers. In his last position there he was responsible for the consumer divisions in Central and Eastern Europe. Medianer’s predecessor, Hans-Jürgen Herr, had managed Weber-Stephen’s business in Germany since 2004. In 2008 he took on responsibility for the manufacturer’s Central and Eastern Europe region as well.
