EDRA and FEDIYMA want to draw up a common code of practice

EDRA and FEDIYMA, two European associations for DIY retailers and manufacturers respectively, want to draw up a common code of practice. This conclusion was reached by EDRA during a meeting of members in Brussels, when the bosses of Europe’s DIY retail companies considered the EU commission’s planned regulation of the relations between traders and suppliers in view of unfair trading practices. These considerations emanate from the Food sector above all. Moreover, EDRA is expected to represent its members in the high level group on retail within the context of the European Retail Action Plan which was set up by the Commission.
