Disbanding of Consorzio Punto Brico

Consorzio Punto Brico, an Italian DIY group that has up to now been in the market with the Fai Te sales brand, has ceased its activities. The report to this effect is from Bricomagazine, a trade magazine. Triggering this off, in addition to the closing down of a store in Palermo, was the decision taken by Defi Brico, the organisation’s biggest partner, to continue to work independently in the future. Defi Brico operates ten DIY stores in central Italy. The remaining six partners are active in Calabria and Sicily. They want to found a new cooperative group.
