Sutherland to leave Kingfisher

Euan Sutherland, Chief Operating Officer at Kingfisher, will be leaving the company in March 2013 to become CEO of the Co-operative Group. He currently sits on its board as a non-executive director. Sutherland has been with the company since 2008, when he joined as CEO of Kingfisher UK & Ireland. He became COO of the parent company in February 2012. The Co-operative is a retailing group with interests in banking and the travel business as well.
