From France to Belgium

Erik Haegeman, managing director of the French DIY retail group Bricorama, is leaving the company to become CEO of the Belgian Brico chain on 1 January 2013. Press reports to this effect have been confirmed by speakers for the companies concerned. At Brico Haegeman will be the successor to Geert Verkest, who will remain as a consultant to the company. Haegeman worked for Brico, which is part of the Maxeda Group of the Netherlands, in the late eighties already.
