French DIYers go shopping

The DIY stores in France recorded strong growth in the first half of 2012. Sales grew by 7.3 per cent on the comparable period last year, according to an announcement by Unibal, a manufacturers’ association. This breaks down into a sales increase of 8.0 per cent from the DIY ranges and 7.3 per cent from the garden ranges.
