In Poland 6.5 per cent of all households intend to replace or modernise their doors within the scope of their next renovating efforts, and another 4.2 per cent (approx. 610 000) plan to replace windows. This comes from the latest report, “Polish plans for housing and renovations in 2012”, presented by ASM, a centre for market research and analysis. It also reveals that Polish manufacturers exported goods during this period with a combined value of € 170.6 mio, with by far the greater part going to EU countries (€ 159.2 mio). By the end of the first quarter of 2012, 20 per cent of the total 2011 volume of exports had already been reached.
