Rise in number of international exhibitors

Some 1 500 exhibitors from 40 countries will be presenting their products and services at the coming IPM International Plant Fair in Essen, Germany, from 22 – 25 January 2013. According to Messe Essen, the number of international exhibitors is continuing to rise. For instance, Korean exhibitors are planning a group stand for the first time to enable them to participate in the technical section. Sri Lanka and Thailand will also be represented for the first time on an official national pavilion. The international Eastern Europe Horticulture Forum will concentrate on the three Baltic states, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. The organisers are expecting 60 000 trade visitors to the event.
