New member on Praktiker’s board

The supervisory board of Praktiker AG has nominated Thomas Heinitz, 55, as an additional member of the company’s board with effect from 1 October 2012. Heinitz, who was most recently managing director of Zeus, is taking over responsibility for category management/buying, marketing and logisitics. He has been appointed for a period of three years. From 2007 until June 2012 Heinitz, 55, was in charge of category management, personnel, finance, cost control and accounting as managing director of Zeus.
