Lithium-ion boom

Cordless tools with lithium-ion batteries are currently experiencing a boom in China. The sales figures in April were 40 per cent above the previous year’s result, as ascertained by the GfK. The reasons for this are that the manufacturers are offering more tools in this category and that demand is rising. Over the same period the volume sales of motorised equipment rose by only one per cent.
