There are changes within the management of B&Q, a subsidiary of Kingfisher. Steve Robinson, who had been working as interim multichannel director, is now customer director and reports directly to Martyn Phillips, CEO of B&Q in Britain and Ireland. Ebru Sayilan has been promoted to commercial director for the seasonal and decorative segment. She moved over to B&Q from the Turkish joint venture Koçtaş three years ago. Chris Ward, supply chain director at B&Q, now has responsibility for a business transformation team charged with implementing Kingfisher’s “Creating the leader” strategy. Marketing director Katherine Paterson will in future also concentrate on the private labels that Kingfisher intends to establish throughout the group.
