Six countries are listed on the German DIY retailer’s growth plan

Bauhaus, a German DIY retailer, has a number of market entries on its agenda. This year should see the opening of Bauhaus stores in Serbia and Bulgaria for the first time, and in Iceland too, where the company is gearing up a location that has been in the pipeline for several years already. Over and above this there are plans for first-time openings in Romania, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Latvia in the future as well.Bauhaus is in addition planning new openings in countries where the company is already established. The plans include one new store each in Finland, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Slovenia and Croatia. Two new stores each are scheduled for Spain, Sweden, Denmark and Hungary, while the sales area of a store in Austria is to be doubled.
