Seven per cent for Clas Ohlson

The Swedish retailer announces particularly positive progress in Finland

The Swedish retail chain Clas Ohlson recorded sales of SEK 2.049 bn in the third quarter, or seven per cent more than the previous comparable period. In the first nine months of the group’s financial year too, from May 2011 to January 2012, the rate of increase remained at seven per cent. The sales volume amounted to SEK 4.988 bn. According to chief executive Klas Balkow, business progressed particularly well in Finland. He announced the opening of between 15 and 20 new stores in the coming financial year.
