Last year saw the retail sales of the K-rauta and Rautia distribution channels in Finland increase by 6.6 per cent to € 1.075 bn. These figures from parent company Kesko represent a more detailed version of the sales results that had already been announced for 2011. Altogether Rautakesko, Kesko’s DIY store and builders’ merchant division, recorded sales of € 1.233 bn in Finland, which represented an increase of 6.0 per cent on the previous year. Total sales, including the group’s international commitments, rose by 7.8 per cent to € 2.716 bn.
