Improvement towards year’s end

The Irish Grafton Group completed the 2011 financial year with a sales decline of 4.7 per cent in its retail business. That figure was still -5.7 per cent in the period from January to October. In Ireland the group operates the Woodie’s DIY and Atlantic Homecare trading channels in the retail sector. Here sales were slightly higher than the previous year’s result in November and December.
