Baumax board member released

Alois Penninger, a member of the board and operational director for the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary at Baumax, the Austrian DIY retailer, has been released from his duties by the company with immediate effect. His position as board member is to be filled externally in the course of next year. Thomas Marx, his successor as country director for the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, will take up his new duties at the beginning of 2012. Marx currently holds the position of marketing manager in Austria. From 2005 he was employed as managing director for Baumax in Croatia, Slovenia and Slovakia.
