Number five in Turkey

Baumax, the number one company in the Austrian DIY market, opened its fifth store in Turkey today, 17 November 2011. The new outlet in the capital Ankara has a retail area of around 15 000 m2 and is the chain’s 155th store. 150 employees will offer services including delivery and home assembly as well as support for construction and refurbishment projects. Trade customers have their own entrance and check-out area. More than three-quarters of the suppliers to the Turkish Baumax stores reportedly come from Turkey.
