Sales growth at Home Depot

The US chain Home Depot ended the third quarter (ended 30 October) with sales of US$ 17.326 bn, an increase of 4.4 per cent over the same period a year ago. Like-for-like sales grew by 4.2 per cent and by 3.8 per cent in the USA. Net profit increased by 12.0 per cent to US$ 934 mio. The sales of the global DIY market leader in the first three quarters amount to US$ 54.381 bn, 2.9 per cent more than in the comparable period in 2010.
