Good numbers expected at Polish fair

The organisers of Gardenia – the Garden and Landscape Architecture Fair in Posen, expect the 2012 event to be around 30 per cent bigger than this year’s. It is due to be held from 24 to 26 February. The number of visitors, particularly from abroad, is also expected to go up. The exhibitors this year totalled 350 companies. The attendance figure of more than 20 000 included some 7 000 trade visitors, for whom the first day of the exhibition was reserved. The Polish industry associations of plant breeders, garden centres and landscapers are partners in the enterprise. The exhibitors come from the categories of garden furniture, irrigation, biochemicals, garden equipment and tools. Also on display are bedding and balcony plants, as well as cut flowers.
