The Spanish and their plants

The Flower Council of Holland is launching a campaign in Spain with the aim of improving the general public’s knowledge of flowers and plants. Under the title “Crecemos juntos – día de los abuelos” (“We grow together – Grandparents’ Day”) the relationship between grandparents and their grandchildren is to be used as the campaign’s symbol. Workshops and other events are being planned in flower shops and garden centres. The project has just been introduced at the Iberflora garden trade fair in Valencia (5 to 7 October 2011). It was first put into practice in Italy twelve years ago.
