Trade directory now in two volumes

DIY Retailers worldwide, the trade directory from Dähne Verlag of Ettlingen, Germany, is being published in two volumes with immediate effect. Volume 1 lists the data from DIY retailers in Europe, while Volume 2 contains information about DIY companies in North and South America, Africa, Asia and Australasia. The current issue, which has just been published, includes 226 companies within Europe and 105 companies beyond Europe. This means the total number of companies listed has gone up by more than a quarter by comparison with the previous issue. The data sheets contain information on the headquarters and management of the DIY store support centres, as well as important key numbers such as sales figures or number and size of locations. All data are also available on an accompanying CD in a variety of file formats. Economic indicators for the individual countries plus references to mergers and takeovers round off the range of information offered by this annually updated work.
