Decline at Grafton

Retail sales of the Irish Grafton Group fall in the first half of the year

The retail business of the Irish Grafton Group declined by 4.6 per cent in the first half of the year compared with the same period last year, dropping to €112.1 mio. In the Woodie’s DIY distribution channel, the decline is reported to have mainly affected some seasonal ranges such as garden furniture, barbecues and garden plants. The poor weather in May and June was blamed for this. The seven kitchen studios under the In-House logo maintained their performance at the level of the previous year. Grafton’s retail division also includes the Atlantic DIY stores.
