Home Depot scores an increase

Home Depot was able to increase sales in the second quarter (to 31 July 2011) by 4.2 per cent. The American market leader reports sales of US $ 20.232 bn for this period. The like-for-like increase amounted to 4.3 per cent overall, and 3.5 per cent for the stores in America alone. The rate of growth for the first half-year, based on a sales volume of US $ 37.055 bn, comes to 2.2 per cent compared to the same period last year.
