The garden trade fair is set to have more exhibitors and an expanded supplementary programme

Glee, the trade fair for the garden and leisure industry to be held in Birmingham, UK, from 19 to 21 September this year, will have more exhibitors this time than in previous years. The fair is divided into six segments: Nursery, Garden Care, Garden Leisure, Landscaping & Garden Design, Home & Gift and Retail Support. The organisers have announced a number of new features for the supplementary programme. Plant producers will for instance be able to use the special Glee Plantaria area to display their plants under real conditions in a typical retail environment. Also new to the fair is a competition for the best merchandising teams, who will design merchandising displays using set products and spaces. There will be more presentations and discussion groups within the framework of two other key events: the Hothouse and Glee Garden Angels. Special areas will be set up for innovations and new products.
