The spotlight will be on the Irish DIY chain Woodie’s at the Eurobrico Meeting Point

Featuring as one of the focal topics in the programme of presentations at the Eurobrico Meeting Point, scheduled for 6 October 2011 in the Spanish city of Valencia, will be the Irish DIY chain Woodie’s. Fernando Colorado, manager of the ADFB, an association of Spanish hardware and DIY retailers, explained that this topic had been chosen as “a good clear example of how, in such an adverse situation as that of the Irish market – which is immersed in an economic and property crisis and desperately needs to clean up its financial system – it is nonetheless possible to take business projects forward.” In addition the AFERB manufacturers’ association will be presenting the results of the Spanish DIY Consumer Panel. The Eurobrico Meeting Point, a platform for bilateral meetings between manufacturers and DIY retailers, will be held this year for the second time after the inaugural event in 2009.
