Strong rise in purchasing volume

The purchasing volume of the German cooperation Eurobaustoff rose in the first six months of this year to € 2.35 bn. That is an increase of 22.5 per cent on the first six months of 2010. The wholesale trade is the heavyweight here, with some 80 per cent of the purchasing volume. The specialist retail trade, which covers ten per cent of the centrally invoiced sales, was able to realise a sales plus of 20 per cent. The area of tiles/stone saw slight expansion.
