Kesko gains nearly ten per cent

The building supplies and DIY retail division of the Finnish Kesko Group increased its turnover in the first half of 2011, with overall sales amounting to € 1.3599 bn over that period. Nevertheless, June brought no more than a minimal increase of 0.3 per cent in Finland, the home market. By contrast, sales for this month grew by 13.1 per cent in the Baltic states, and by 14.5 per cent on a euro basis in Russia.
