Prize for sales-promoting plants

Next year the IPM Essen (Germany), an international plant fair, is due to be staged for the 30th time. The dates for the event are 24 to 27 January 2012. To celebrate this special birthday the fair organisers have got together with Plant Publicity Holland and the Federation of German Nursery Gardens to set up an international “Colour your life” award. This is to be offered for plants with special characteristics that can be used for targeted sales promotions. National competitions are to be held in the autumn so that the nominees from various countries can be displayed at the IPM.
